Philip & Damien's Story:

Having known Paul Williamson for over 20 years you would think we would know better than to take on a venture of his suggestion. But son Damien and I as Team Risky Business are truly looking forward to the challenge and cultural immersion of the Border and Beyond bike ride. Bike ride is probably an understatement, I don’t think we have driven 800km on any “holiday” let alone ridden it. What are we thinking?

Actually what we are thinking is we hope to make a small difference to our own lives enjoying the challenge and camaraderie, but make a significantly larger difference to those lives we can help by raising funds to assist those that need and deserve it. Damien and I (plus Allison who is baulking this bike ride) walked the Kokoda track back in 2016 and loved the cultural experience and assisting the local economy in a small way and see this trip as a natural extension of that.

Damien and I are really forward to the trip, and have expectations that it might nearly as good as the Tigers winning the 2017 flag!!! What a month September 2017 was, never take anything for granted and embrace whatever life throws at you.

Thanks for you support both moral (that won’t help anyone in Cambodia) and financial (now you are talking something that will help 😊).
